Our current charter prices are listed in the table below. Please not they are subject to change as the pirces for 2010 are being set. To place a booking, in the first instance please confirm availability by clicking "Enquire" next to the required yacht. Upon confirmation of availability, please use our online booking form to place your booking - more information can be found in the Booking a Chartersection on this page. Please note that for the 2010 season all yachts security deposits will be £1000.
Our Conditions of Charter are as laid down by the Association of Scottish Yacht Charterers, and a copy is sent out with each brochure and booking form. Signing the bottom of the booking form means that you agree to be bound by the Conditions for the purposes of the charter.
BOOKING A CHARTER
To make a booking, it is necessary to check the availability of the yacht, either by telephone or e-mail. Once availability has been confirmed, please place your booking via one of the following methods:

ONLINE BOOKING (Preferred)
Place your booking through our secure online booking form. Upon receipt of your booking, we will confirm the price and booking by e-mail. We will then hold that boat for you for a period of seven days, to allow you to pay the booking deposit.

Alternatively, you may download and print our booking form (PDF), then send it to us along with the booking deposit.
Booking deposit is £100 per boat per week, or part of a week. No booking can be considered firm until the booking deposit has been paid.
We will then notify you approximately one month before the start of your charter, and the balance of the charter fee, should be with us, not less than two weeks before the start date, along with a security deposit of £1000 per boat, or £1500 if a spinnaker is requested.
Our brochure prices, includethe cost of engine hours, diesel, gas, and berthage within the home port of the yacht.
CHARTER TIMES
A weekly charter will nominally start at 14.00 hours on Saturday, and finish at 10.00 hours the following Saturday. Yachts should be back in the home port on the Friday evening. Variations to these times may be possible by arrangement.
WEEKEND and DAILY CHARTERS
Weekend charters are available on most of our yachts. However, on specified yachts they are only available at short notice. Please contact the office to check availability. We have two weekend options. Option 1) starts at 1800 hours on Thursday and runs till 1600 hours on Sunday. Option 2) starts at 1800 hours on Friday and runs until 1600h hours on Monday. The weekend will be charged at half the weekly rate. Again confirm with the office for availability.
Day charters will only be accepted at short notice and will be charged at one fifth the weekly rate. A day charter is defined as 09.00 hours to 17.00 hours.
SEASONS
High season runs from the first Saturday in May till the last Saturday in August.
EXTRAS
A skipper may be hired at £100 per day.
Under certain circumstances, some of our yachts may be used for racing. A surcharge of £500 is charged, which includes extra insurance to cover racing risks, and the security deposit is increased to £TBA.
Oilskins, may be hired at the rate of £25 per week, or £5 per day. Boots are £5 per week or £1 per day (or Free of charge if waterproof hired). Cheques to cover the cost of foul weather gear should be made payable to L. Anderson and not to Flamingo Yacht Charter.
Most of our yachts have an outboard motor for the dinghy, as part of their normal inventory. However, some privately owned boats do not. Subject to availability one may be hired for £25 per week, or part of a week.
DISCOUNTS
Previous customers 10%
Two consecutive weeks 5% (for new customers)
Two yachts booked together 5% (for new customers)
Maximum total discount 10% (all customers)
CLEANING
At the end of the charter the yacht should be handed back, as clean as when it was picked up. If this is not the case, and extra cleaning is required, a charge of £40 may be deducted from the security deposit to cover this.
If you choose, you may leave the cleaning to us for a charge of £40. This must be booked in advance, to allow arrangements to be made.
