For our yachts based on the Clyde, Largs Yacht Haven is perfectly situated to start a sailing holiday. You can cruise to all points north, south & west from the marina and explore over 3000 miles of superb coastline.

The weak tidal currents of the Firth of Clyde, combined with detailed buoyage system and sheltered water, provide safe conditions for navigation. There are numerous secluded anchorages to be experienced and an abundance of wild birds, animals and sea life to be seen.

The attractive harbours of Millport, Rothsay and Tarbet are within a few miles of the marina.

To the immediate south lies the Isle of Arran and the Mull of Kintyre - gateway to the Western Isles, while for the more adventurous, Northern Ireland is only a day's sail away. H.I.D.B. moorings are available free of charge in many popular bays throughout the Clyde and West Coast areas.

For the more adventurous sailor, our yachts based in Craobh Haven give access to the rugged picturesque West Coast of Scotland. 

From Craobh, islands such as Colonsay, Islay, Jura and Mull are accessible, all in a days sail.  Equally with careful passage planning the rest of the spectacular West Coast is accessible to the experienced sailor.  However, unlike the Clyde, tidal currents must be considered on leaving the Haven for the direction you chose to sail.

As with the Clyde, there are numerous secluded anchorages to be experienced and an abundance of wild birds, animals and sea life to be seen.
